| Artist's Statement I believe my purpose as an artist is to pay attention to the natural world, find beautiful, unusual or incongruous facets of everyday experience, isolate them and present them as paintings. I feel that one way of acknowledging and becoming comfortable with our spirituality is to notice and pay attention to the depth and complexity of the physical world. |

This interest continued throughout her college life where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education and Fine Arts. Her interests extended into ceramics, weaving, sculpture, jewelry, and especially batik which she exhibited in the Ann Arbor Art Fair in the early 70’s. In more recent years her focus has changed to photography and watercolor.
